The 2005 Dufour 40 Performance is a 40-foot sailing yacht with a fiberglass hull and fluid, aggressive design lines. Built for performance and stability, the boat carries a 40 hp Volvo diesel engine with a three-blade retractable propeller. The deck is fitted with a Facnor furling system, bimini and dodger, lazy jack, and full sail inventory including a 110% jib, 135% genoa, mainsail with three reefs, and spinnaker.
