2005 Formula 48 Yacht

The 2005 Formula 48 is a 48-foot fiberglass motor yacht with a modified vee hull designed for stable performance across varied conditions. Twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines produce 1,320 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 35 knots.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads. An electric windlass with remote control simplifies anchoring operations, and a remotely operated swim platform provides easy water access. The boat is equipped with an intricate camera system offering views of the anchor, bow, and stern positions.

Power and energy systems include two 3-kilowatt inverters and a 26-kilowatt lithium iron phosphate marine battery bank. Navigation features a 2022 Garmin upgrade. The Cummins engines have 1,960 hours logged and have been fitted with a complete new exhaust system and new turbochargers. Onboard controls for the windlass, swim platform, and blower systems operate via remote.
