2005 Hunter 41 Aft Cockpit

The Hunter 41 Aft Cockpit is a well-established cruising sailboat defined by its generous beam of 13.25 feet and thoughtful layout. The design features an efficient sail plan with all lines leading aft, making it straightforward to handle single-handed. Power comes from an upgraded 56 hp Yammer diesel engine paired with a Fischer Panda 5K generator fitted in 2020, supporting extended cruising. The in-mast furling mainsail was refurbished and a new Quantum genoa was installed in 2024.

The interior prioritizes comfort and usable space across two cabins and two heads. The salon centers on a large U-shaped dinette to port and straight settee to starboard, both framed in glossy cherry woodwork with an Everwear laminate sole. Overhead deck windows and four fixed side windows flood the space with light; four opening hatches provide ventilation. A forward-facing navigation station houses a Raymarine E80 chartplotter, iCom VHF with mast-mounted hailer, and a Xantrex battery charger and inverter. The cabin features a television and Bose sound system; heat and air conditioning are ducted throughout.

The galley spans significant counter and storage space with a separate front-opening refrigerator and freezer (new compressor installed in 2023), Corian countertops with teak fiddles, a three-burner gimballed stove with oven, microwave, and deep double sink with pull-out faucet. The forward cabin holds a double pullman berth with innerspring mattress and a private head with shower and electric flush. The aft cabin features a queen berth with innerspring mattress and padded headboard, opening ports, and a separate day head with shower and electric flush.

Headroom reaches 6'6" in most areas, with abundant storage throughout including cedar-lined hanging lockers, multiple cabinets and drawers, and accessible lockers along the hull sides. A water filtration system, shore power capability, and zoned lighting complete the equipped interior.
