The 2005 Luhrs 32 Open is a center-console sportfisher built on a modified V-hull designed to handle offshore conditions. The deep forefoot and Carolina flair work through head seas while the modified hull maintains stability in troughs. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver 680 horsepower, pushing the boat to speeds around 32 knots with a cruising speed of 26 knots.

The open layout prioritizes fishing efficiency and safety. A custom fiberglass hardtop with full instrumentation provides weather protection, while the easy-access fish tower features extra-wide seating. The cockpit benefits from clear sight lines in all directions and straightforward access. Tackle storage, tool lockers, and PFD stowage are distributed throughout the bridgedeck. Standard fishing gear includes a livewell, dual washdowns, rod holders, bait prep centers, and a transom coaming fishbox.

Below deck, the 32 Open offers modest overnight accommodations. The forward cabin contains a V-berth that converts to a dinette, and a starboard settee unfolds to a double berth with a single above. The galley is equipped with a two-burner range, dual-voltage refrigerator-freezer, and microwave. A full fiberglass head with shower features Corian countertops and ample storage. Interior finishes include rich fabrics, solid wood accents, Corian appointments, and carpeting throughout. An optional three-sided enclosure is available to extend seasonal comfort.
