2005 Mako 284 Center Console

The 2005 Mako 284 is a 28-foot fiberglass center console built for offshore fishing. Twin Mercury engines producing 450 horsepower deliver a top speed of 28 knots and cruise at around 22 knots. The boat has a 9.8-foot beam and includes one head.

The boat received significant upgrades in 2022, including new upholstery and protective covers throughout. Navigation and fish-finding equipment consists of a Furuno TZ 12 Touch multifunction display with integrated GPS, radar, and sonar. Eighteen-foot Taco outriggers were installed in 2020 for trolling capability.

Engine maintenance has been recent, with lower unit oil service and water pump replacement both completed in 2022. The boat has accumulated 1,050 engine hours to date. The trailer was updated in 2022 with new tires, rims, bearings, and hubs.
