The MJM 34z is a 34-foot downeast designed by Doug Zurn and built by Boston Boatworks. The boat features a proprietary e-glass and foam-cored fiberglass hull engineered for efficiency and seakeeping. At just over 10,000 pounds, it ranks among the lightest in its class, and its 11-foot beam makes it compact and transportable. Power comes from a single Yanmar diesel engine rated at 440 hp.
The interior includes a v-berth conversion kit and one head. Topside, a cockpit bimini provides weather protection. The boat is equipped with updated Raymarine electronics for navigation and monitoring.
Recent work includes a full hull fairing and new AwlGrip Flag Blue paint with clear coat, a refreshed bottom, and new house batteries. The boat is ready for cruising.
