Designed by Bill Stevens and Robert Perry, this 53-foot Stevens custom sailing yacht was built for extended cruising. The high freeboard creates a notably spacious interior, while the five-foot draft enables both shallow-water exploration and open-ocean passage making. The rig is configured for short-handed operation, featuring boom furling, electric winches, and a self-tacking headsail.
The yacht accommodates four cabins and four heads, suitable for a family or cruising group living aboard. A single 160-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine provides auxiliary power. The fiberglass hull measures 16 feet on the beam and displaces the boat's weight efficiently across its length.
Recent updates include Garmin navigation instruments and a full cockpit enclosure. The boat was hauled, bottom-painted, and fitted with new anodes.
