The 2005 Tartan 4400 is a 45-foot composite sailing yacht powered by a 100 hp Yanmar diesel engine. This model gained recognition during its production run for combining classical Tartan design and sailing performance with modern construction and comfort.
The raised coach roof creates generous headroom throughout the main cabin. The layout includes a forward stateroom with a king-size berth, a second head, and a third cabin converted from the original second head—plumbing remains in place should the layout be altered in future. The galley is sized to support extended cruising and offshore passages.
This particular yacht features several custom modifications beyond the standard build. The 100 hp Yanmar represents an upgrade from the base engine. Recent upgrades have been made throughout the inventory. The hull bottom is undergoing stripping and refinishing, with completion scheduled for launch.
