2006 Beneteau Oceanis 343

The 2006 Beneteau Oceanis 343 is a 34-foot fiberglass sloop designed for comfortable cruising and easy handling. Built with a balsa-core deck sandwich and equipped with a fin keel, bulb, and spade rudder, the boat carries 4,320 pounds of iron ballast. Power comes from a Yanmar 3YM30 diesel engine producing 29 horsepower with 1,200 hours logged. The rig features in-mast mainsail furling and a roller-furling genoa, both original Neil Pryde sails, controlled by Lewmar primary and secondary winches. Standing rigging was replaced after 2018. Navigation and monitoring systems include a B&G Zeus3 chartplotter with radar, Raymarine Evolution autopilot, Standard Horizon VHF with AIS, and a full array of wind, compass, and barometric instruments.

Below deck, the mahogany-veneer cabin with cherry stain accommodates six. The layout includes a full double in the vee berth with hanging locker and storage, a main salon with U-shaped and straight settees flanking a dining table, and an L-shaped galley featuring a Force 10 propane stove with oven, microwave, and Isotherm refrigerator. A generous enclosed head with electric toilet, handheld shower, and sink sits forward of the aft quarter berth, which offers a generous double athwartships bed with engine room access below. All interior varnish and cushions are reported in excellent condition. Cabin sole is teak and ebony veneer plywood.

Electrical systems comprise 12V and 110V circuits with a 60-amp alternator, Victron solar panel and controller, lithium house batteries installed in 2023, and a True Charge 20-amp charger. Tankage includes 20-gallon fuel capacity, 67 gallons of fresh water across two tanks, and 25-gallon holding tank with y-valve. An Atwood water heater provides hot water from both engine and 110V source. The boat is fitted with Rocna and Delta anchors, dinghy davits, outboard bracket and lift, lifesling and safety gear, fire extinguishers, LED masthead light, and canvas winter cover. A 9-foot North Atlantic inflatable from 2021 is available separately.
