This 2006 Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 423 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built for comfortable offshore and coastal sailing. At just over 42 feet with a beam of nearly 13 feet, the design combines traditional lines with a modern hull shape for responsive handling. The boat features an in-mast furling mainsail and furling genoa, with all control lines led aft to the cockpit for easy single-handed operation. Power comes from a 55 hp Volvo diesel engine.
Below decks, the layout includes two cabins and two heads. The forward stateroom has a queen island berth with an ensuite head and shower, while the aft cabin provides guest accommodation. The main salon is bright and well-ventilated, with a U-shaped dinette to starboard and a forward-facing navigation station to port. The galley features a top-loading freezer, front-loading refrigerator, propane stove with oven, built-in microwave, and double stainless steel sinks. Interior woodwork is teak and holly throughout, with Duratouch cushioning in the salon.
Navigation and comfort systems include a Raymarine C80 chartplotter with GPS, Tridata wind and depth instruments, and SmartPilot autopilot. The electrical system has dual 12-volt house batteries with charger and inverter, plus 110-volt outlets throughout. Air conditioning with reverse cycle heat keeps the interior comfortable. Raymarine VHF radio, Sony stereo with cabin and cockpit speakers, and quality Lewmar winches complete the equipment package.
The boat has been freshwater-kept and features recent upgrades including new upholstery coverings, a custom stainless steel dodger and bimini frame with Sunbrella canvas for sun protection, and custom cockpit cushions. A steel cradle is included.
