The 2006 Fountain 47 Lightning is a high-performance center console powered by triple Mercury Racing 525 engines with XR drives, producing 1,575 horsepower. The engines have been selectively rebuilt: the center and starboard units in 2024 with 55 hours of operation, and the port engine in 2021 with 80 hours. The drive systems have also been maintained and upgraded—the starboard drive received a new upper unit and rebuilt lower unit in 2025 with 25 hours, while the port drive was fully rebuilt in 2024 with 55 hours; the center drive remains original. The transom assemblies were rebuilt in 2025 and currently show 25 hours.
The boat features a full custom paint scheme with matching dash panels, back-to-back drop-down bolster seats, and a complete cabin with a separate head. Accommodations include air conditioning and heating, a refrigerator, microwave, and two-burner stove. Navigation and monitoring are handled by a Simrad GPS unit, Livorsi gauges, and dedicated drive and trim tab indicators. A Westerbeke generator with 263 hours provides onboard power.
Additional equipment includes a full boat cover, cockpit cover, and a painted triple axle trailer with toolbox. The boat has been kept in fresh water and indoor storage under professional maintenance.
