2006 Great Harbour N37

The 2006 Great Harbour N37 is a 37-foot fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising and known for its robust construction and straightforward maintenance. Twin Yanmar 4JH4E diesel engines of 54 horsepower each power the boat to a cruising speed of 7 knots, with each engine logged around 5,200 hours and recently overhauled. The boat carries approximately 500 gallons of fuel and benefits from a fuel polishing system and dedicated oil-changing setup serving both engines and the 8-kilowatt generator.

The interior centers on a single-level main deck housing the galley, head, and two staterooms with no steps between them. The galley includes a full refrigerator, four-burner electric cooktop, and microwave/convection oven. The master suite forward features a full 60-by-80-inch island queen berth set on centerline with extensive surrounding storage, while the guest cabin to port offers a convertible settee that transforms into a full-size berth and includes a fold-down desk. The head contains a spacious shower with fold-out seat, separate vacu-flush toilet, and vanity. Above, the saloon houses the helm station, navigator's bench, and spacious settee with folding table.

Recent significant work includes a 2021 hull bottom refitting with bead blasting, epoxy primer, and new bottom paint, plus new Awlgrip topside paint above the waterline. Electronics upgrades span multiple years with a 2015 Raymarine system, 2017 additions of an ICOM SSB radio, and a 2025 new forward air-conditioning unit. Battery banks total 1,320 ampere-hours house capacity with a separate engine-start bank, complemented by a pure sine inverter and modern LED lighting throughout. The boat carries comprehensive systems for extended operation, including redundant spotlights, engine flush kits, and a Maxwell dual chain windlass overhauled in 2021.
