2006 Hunter 41 Deck Salon

This 2006 Hunter 41 Deck Salon is a 40-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The boat features a wide 13.25-foot beam and a modern deck salon layout designed for comfortable extended cruising.

The interior accommodates two heads and includes custom carpentry throughout. Notable interior upgrades include spalted maple finishing in the aft cabin, a custom settee with substantial under-seat storage on the starboard side, and a custom shelf installed above the galley counter. The boat carries a Highfield CL290 tender and Tohatsu 15-horsepower outboard, deployed via davits.

Recent significant work includes standing rigging replacement (2022), new sails (2023), and a full engine refresh with new shaft, strut, dripless seal, motor mounts, and coupler (2024). Electronics have been upgraded with a complete Raymarine system including multifunction display, wind, speed, and depth instruments, plus autopilot. Navigation repeater and energy management screens use Samsung Galaxy Tab integration. A Standard Horizon GX2400 VHF with AIS rounds out the communications package.

Power and renewable systems feature lithium battery banks with 2000-watt inverter and 100-amp charger (2023), 600 watts of solar generation (2025), and integrated monitoring via Smart Shunt and Xantrex Freedom XC display. The boat is finished with a custom hard top with sun shades, custom Rayco canvas dodger with acrylic windows, hull paint in Awlcraft 2000 Seafoam (2023), and fresh bottom paint (2025).
