Zimbini is a 2006 Island Spirit 401 catamaran, a 40-foot fiberglass sailboat with a 23-foot beam. Built as an owners version, she is designed for Intracoastal Waterway cruising and draws shallow enough to navigate those waters with ease. Her relatively compact size for a catamaran means she can be hauled out at most boatyards, simplifying maintenance and storage.
The boat is powered by a Yanmar auxiliary engine, providing backup propulsion when needed. The wide beam and catamaran design provide stability and living space typical of the breed, making her suitable for extended cruising and comfortable for those who want to spend time aboard.
