2006 Judel and Vrolijk TP 52

This 2006 Judel and Vrolijk TP 52 is a composite-hulled racing yacht built to compete at the highest level. Powered by a single 50 hp Yanmar diesel engine, the 52-foot hull spans 14.47 feet at the beam and has been continuously refined for offshore performance.

The yacht has undergone systematic upgrades since 2010, all designed by Judel and Vrolijk and executed by Hakes Marine. Key modifications include a new keel bulb and bowsprit (2010), forward watertight bulkhead and mid bow ring frame for offshore capability (2010), mast replacement (2013), EC6 rigging (2013), extended side decks aft (2015), and removal of all internal lead and keel fin lead weight (2016).

The boat's competitive record reflects its optimized design, with strong performances in regional IRC racing including first place in the 2018 IRC China Coast Regatta and victory in the Hong Kong to Vietnam Race in October 2019.
