The 2006 Rinker 282 Captiva Bowrider is a 29-foot fiberglass runabout powered by a MerCruiser 6.2 gasoline engine rated at 320 horsepower. With an estimated 400 total hours, the boat seats eight to ten adults comfortably and is rated for up to fourteen passengers. The Bravo 3 outdrive with twin props provides reliable propulsion, and the fuel tank capacity supports extended time on the water.
The layout includes a head with a Thetford toilet and a cabin area with refrigeration that has been reconfigured to include a drawer and cooler slide. Snap-out carpeting covers the cabin floors, and storage hatches provide access for water sports equipment. The bow features open seating with a sun shade over the rear passenger area. Electronics include a newer Hummingbird Helix 5 GPS chartplotter and a Standard Horizon GX1400GPS radio, along with an anchor and windlass.
The engine received service work before winter storage, including replacement of the water circulation pump, new exhaust bellows, updated spark plugs, and a compression check across all cylinders (155–170 psi). The transom was inspected and found sound. Quick Silver solenoids for the outdrive have been recently installed, and new batteries are fitted. The boat comes with a full cover, snap-out carpet, all manuals and maintenance records, safety equipment, winterization supplies, and a three-person tube with rope.
A 2021 triple-axle trailer is included with the sale, rated to tow the boat at approximately 8,000 pounds loaded. The exterior requires detailing but the mechanical systems are ready for use.
