The Tiara 4200 Open is a 42-foot sportfish built on a fiberglass hull with hand-laid construction, balsa core deck and hull sides, and a gelcoat outer layer. Twin Cummins diesel engines deliver 1,070 horsepower. The boat is powered by a 12V DC and 120V/240V AC electrical system with a 50-amp battery charger, dual-bank gel cell battery setup, and a Kohler 8kW generator (2,450 hours).
The open layout centers on a well-appointed cockpit with an upper wetbar featuring a sink, cutting board, refrigerator, and insulated cooler aft—designed for tackle and food preparation. The helm benefits from a custom composite windshield with tempered safety glass, power-opening center section, and three washer-wiper sets. An automatic anchor windlass system operates from both foredeck foot pedal and helm remote switch. Four 10-inch spring line cleats and two 6-inch fender cleats secure the boat.
The boat has one head onboard. The Cummins engines are displayed via C-Cruise engine monitoring.
