2006 Tiara Yachts 4400 Sovran

The 2006 Tiara Yachts 4400 Sovran is a 43-foot fiberglass motor yacht built with advanced marine construction: a gelcoat outer layer, high-performance quadaxial fiberglass, balsa core, epoxy resin, and vacuum-bag technology throughout the hull and deck. The long, sweeping foredeck features hand-laid fiberglass with balsa core and vinylester resin. A custom-curved composite windshield integrates seamlessly with the hardtop, sheltering a hinged helm console with full engine instrumentation and an adjustable admiral-style double-wide helm seat that moves forward and aft as well as up and down.

The aft section includes a swim platform extending 52 inches beyond the transom with diamond-patterned non-skid surface, suitable for water access, a personal watercraft, or an inflatable dinghy. Below-deck storage is accessed through a hydraulically actuated fiberglass hatch. The single Volvo diesel engine powers this beam of 14.5 feet.

Below decks, the interior features plush leather seating, Corian countertops, a stainless steel sink, and a built-in 22-inch flat-screen television with DVD capability. The main saloon includes a folding birds-eye maple and teak table that converts to a berth, accommodating up to six people sleeping. The master stateroom holds a queen-size pedestal bed with spring mattress and storage below. A second stateroom contains two overlapping bunk beds and a combination washer-dryer unit, with direct access to the head.
