2006 Viking Convertible

This 2006 Viking 61 Convertible is a rare hull—only 153 were built in the model run, and four-stateroom configurations with CAT C-32 engines are scarce among them. The boat was heavily upgraded over the past seven years, with fresh hull paint applied in late 2025 and polished, ceramic-coated topsides. The hull falls outside the period known for gelcoat issues.

Twin CAT C-32 engines rated at 1,650 hp each power the yacht to a cruising speed of 30 knots at 60 percent load. Both engines were rebuilt and have logged 820 hours since that work; they received a proactive 1,000-hour service recently, with 40 hours of running time accumulated after that service.

The interior includes four staterooms and three heads with updated finishes. A factory-installed mezzanine sits above the saloon. Teak planking covers the cockpit sole and mezzanine deck. Dual Onan 21.5 kW generators provide electrical power. A SpotZero SZ 2000 water purifier is aboard.

Electronics include updated Garmin systems, a Furuno CSH-8LM2 Omni sonar added in August 2024, and a Furuno sonar remote installed in November 2025. The bridge features new curtains and exterior soft goods in like-new condition. A custom removable stainless steel pulpit, integrated bow thruster controls, and a black vinyl mask complete the equipment list.
