The Baia 70 Italia is an elegant Kevlar coupé built in 2007, powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 3,650 horsepower. The yacht reaches speeds up to 52 knots and cruises at 43 knots. Its design centers on a unified cockpit and saloon space unified by a large panoramic glass windshield that merges with the protective roof overhead. The expansive side windows and opening ceiling flood the dinette with natural light and ventilation. An opening panoramic window aft can convert the cockpit into protected, air-conditioned comfort or full open-air living. A U-shaped convertible settee at the stern can serve as a sundeck and is protected by a canvas cover.
Below deck, the yacht offers three guest cabins: an owner's cabin amidships, a double cabin to starboard with flat berths, and a VIP cabin forward. All guest cabins feature en-suite heads. A separate crew cabin with two berths sits adjacent to the galley. The main deck forward includes a helm station with dual seating and saloon sofas to port and starboard, with a bar and galley to port and dinette to starboard. A generous foredeck sundeck completes the layout.
The yacht underwent an extensive refit in 2024–2025. Both engines were removed, completely overhauled, serviced to zero hours, and the Arneson drive was serviced as well. New equipment includes flaps, bow thruster, electrical system, air conditioning, icemaker, and non-slip platform. Cockpit furniture was refinished and the dinette received a new television cabinet. A RINA survey was completed in May 2025.
