The 2007 Contender 36 Fisharound is a fiberglass sportfisher powered by triple Yamaha 250 hp four-stroke engines with 1,350 hours on them. Built to handle rough conditions, the hull features a 24.5° deadrise for a dry ride. The boat carries 420 gallons of fuel capacity, supporting extended offshore fishing trips.
The yacht accommodates weekend cruising and live-aboard use with a queen berth in the cabin, standup head with shower, galley with microwave and refrigerator/freezer, Kohler generator, air conditioning, and battery chargers. Fishing gear includes a transom fish box and live well, 300-gallon above-deck fish box, 60-gallon below-deck live well, and Gemlux outriggers.
Navigation and electronics have been recently upgraded with triple Simrad Evo3 multifunction screens, Simrad radar, 1 kW transducer with side scan, CMAP 4D chart data for Southeast Florida and the Bahamas, and Garmin autopilot. Entertainment is provided by a Fusion stereo with JL Audio speakers, and LED underwater lights add to the setup.
The boat has been dry-stored and is in regular use. Recent maintenance includes a 100-hour service on the engines, new upholstery and bolsters, and fresh Fusion audio installation. The engines have been consistently maintained throughout ownership.
