The Farrier F-41 is a performance cruising catamaran designed by Ian Farrier, built with foam-cored fiberglass construction. This 42-foot boat combines speed and handling with genuine cruising comfort and interior space. The hull design features a waterline length-to-beam ratio of 111, which reduces wave resistance, and high bridge-deck clearance that increases toward the stern to minimize pounding in rough conditions. The interior is bright and open with good sightlines throughout, and all cabins benefit from excellent ventilation.
Power comes from twin Nanni 29 hp diesel engines paired with new Twin Disc SP60 saildrives. The boat carries a well-developed sail plan with a newly installed Lewmar electric 2-speed winch at the helm, Harken 40ST primary winches, a stack pack mainsail cover with lazy jacks, a Harken jib furler, and a full-length stern-mounted Harken main traveler. Navigation and instrument systems include a Raymarine i60 package and new Garmin 12 multifunction displays at both helm stations.
The boat was hand-built over four years by the original owner and launched in 2011. All equipment was purchased new during construction. A comprehensive refit was completed in 2021 and 2022, including significant upgrades to systems and gear throughout.
