The 2008 Lagoon 420 is a 42-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 150 hp Yammer diesel engines. Built for extended cruising, this four-cabin, three-head layout accommodates families and liveaboards comfortably. The interior features light oak woodwork, laminated flooring, and an open-concept saloon filled with natural light from large hull windows. The galley connects directly to the cockpit, creating a flowing design suited to both meal preparation and entertaining.
This catamaran carries substantial upgrades for off-grid capability and modern comfort. Solar power consists of four 320-watt panels paired with a 600 amp-hour lithium battery bank and 2,000-watt inverter. A Dometic reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating unit handles tropical and temperate conditions. An EchoTec watermaker provides fresh water independence, and Starlink marine equipment enables connectivity underway.
The boat has been upgraded throughout for reliability and cruising readiness. Mechanical improvements include newer Yammer engines delivering extra power. The mainsail is new, bottom paint was applied in September 2025, and isinglass protection at the helm has been renewed. A new tender with outboard is included. Systems are reported in working order and well-maintained.
