This 2007 Hanse 400 is a three-cabin cruising yacht built on a fiberglass hull with a fin keel and composite iron lead ballast. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, the boat combines performance with straightforward handling, featuring responsive wheel steering and a 40 HP Yanmar inboard diesel engine with sail drive. She carries a full suit of sails including a mainsail with stack pack, self-tacking jib, 130 percent genoa, and spinnaker with snuffer pole, all managed by electric winches and supported by original standing rigging.
Below deck, the layout centres on a bright U-shaped saloon that opens to a well-appointed galley with two stainless steel sinks, Dometic oven, gas stove, and generous worktop space. Three double cabins offer comfortable sleeping arrangements: a forward cabin with good headroom and deck hatch, plus two aft cabins with wardrobes and storage. A separate head compartment forward includes toilet and sink, while an aft head features toilet, sink, shower, and hot and cold water throughout. Both heads connect to holding tanks.
The yacht carries comprehensive electronics including a Garmin chart plotter, Icom VHF radio, AIS transceiver, and Simrad AP16 autopilot. Additional systems include a bow thruster for tight maneuvering, Webasto diesel heating, solar panel, and shore power with immersion heating. The engine was serviced in 2025 and fresh batteries are fitted. On deck, the cockpit features bench seating with cushions, a folding table, and full enclosure added in 2023. Teak decking runs across the cockpit, while a Seago four-person life raft, electric windlass with anchor and chain, and stainless steel guard rails complete the setup.
