2007 Hatteras 68 Convertible

This 2007 Hatteras 68 Convertible is a diesel-powered sportfish built on a fiberglass hull, measuring 68 feet 7 inches long with a 21-foot 6-inch beam. Twin MTU M91 engines deliver 2,000 horsepower each—an upgraded option from the factory—with approximately 3,900 hours on the main powerplants. The boat cruises comfortably at 30 knots and reaches 40 knots at top speed, supported by two generator sets running around 3,000 hours each.

Four cabins and four heads provide accommodation for extended cruising and fishing expeditions. The interior is arranged with a salon that includes day-head provisions, multiple flat-screen televisions, and a washer-dryer combination. Galley storage spans four Sub-Zero refrigerators, multiple freezers and coolers, and a dedicated ice box for fishing provisions. A watermaker rounds out the live-aboard capabilities.

The boat is equipped for serious fishing with electric teaser reels, a live bait well, and a fighting saddle. Navigation relies on upgraded Garmin electronics throughout. Recent service work includes new AC units, freshly serviced air conditioning systems, overhauled transmissions, replacement cutless bearings and shaft seals, new zincs, updated batteries and charger, a fresh water pump on the starboard engine, and full servicing of all refrigeration. New salon carpet and updated smoke detectors with serviced fire systems round out the recent work. The hull received new bottom paint three years ago.
