This 2007 Lagoon 440 is a 44-foot fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising and designed around self-sufficiency. Twin Yanmar 4JH4AE engines deliver 54 horsepower each, paired with Yanmar SD50 saildrives fitted with folding propellers. The boat carries 172 gallons of fuel and includes a 40-gallon-per-hour watermaker. Standing rigging was replaced in 2021; sheets and halyards were renewed between 2023 and 2025. Five electric Harken winches handle sail trim.
The accommodation plan comprises three cabins and three heads, each with electric macerating toilets. The owner's suite features a custom workspace replacing the original settee. Climate control includes three high-efficiency air-conditioning units. The galley has been updated with an induction cooktop, toaster oven/air fryer, and a large single-basin sink. Refrigeration has been refreshed, with new units installed in the cockpit, galley, and freezer compartment.
Between 2023 and 2025, the electrical system received substantial upgrades: 2,685 watts of solar panels with Victron charge controllers feed a 23-kilowatt-hour lithium battery bank, paired with dual 3,000-watt Victron inverters and four Victron chargers rated for both US and EU shore power. An Onan 11.5-kilowatt generator, rebuilt in 2022, has approximately 1,100 hours since overhaul. Navigation electronics include Raymarine VHF, AIS, radar, chart plotter, autopilot, and multifunction instruments; the boat is also equipped with Starlink internet connectivity.
The deck features a hardtop bimini with full canvas enclosure and new outdoor cushions throughout. A Highfield 340 dinghy with 20-horsepower Tohatsu outboard is included. The primary anchor is an 85-pound Mantus M1 with 180 feet of half-inch chain and a 33-kilogram Rocna secondary. Bottom paint was renewed in August 2024, and saildrive seals and diaphragms were serviced that same month. The boat requires new sails and some interior cosmetic attention, including saloon cushion recovery and saloon window rebedding.
