The 2007 Meridian 580 Pilothouse is a 58-foot fiberglass pilothouse yacht powered by twin Cummins QSM 11 diesel engines producing 1,270 horsepower combined. The 17-foot, 4-inch beam provides stability and interior space. The boat runs on an Onan 17.5kw generator and includes a full suite of navigation electronics upgraded to Garmin in late 2022, with radar, chart plotter, GPS, and autopilot with remote capability. Dual helms on the upper and lower decks both feature bow and stern thrusters for docking assistance.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads. The full-beam master stateroom includes a tub and shower, cedar-lined closets, and a custom-fitted mattress. All staterooms offer substantial storage. The main salon features recliner seating, a smart television with Bose surround sound, and entertainment systems including a new Fusion stereo with five independent zones. The galley is fitted with stainless steel appliances including a full-size refrigerator and freezer, four-burner stove, convection microwave, and trash compactor. A new icemaker sits in the salon.
The pilothouse includes an additional dinette and seating with direct access to the bow. The upper bridge deck has seating for entertaining, new captain's chairs, an electric grill, and a bridge refrigerator. Accommodations throughout feature new carpeting with padding, new wood blinds, and all interior and exterior seating has been re-stuffed with new foam, including bow pads. The boat includes a full-size Bosch washer and dryer, central vacuum, and a new Pulsair system with Vaccu-flush sanitation.
The engine room is spacious with new LED lighting and a reverse oil change system. Recent maintenance includes a new engine exhaust system, upgraded fire suppression with remote extinguishers, new bottom paint and anodes (2021), tuned propellers (2021), deep-cycle batteries (2020), and starter batteries (2021). Exterior surfaces were waxed and buffed in October 2023, and all heating and air-conditioning units have been serviced.
