The 2007 Sabre 386 is a 38-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat with clean, purposeful lines and a straightforward sail plan designed for ease of handling. The headsail features roller furling while the mainsail stows in a lazy back, with all sail controls led to the cockpit and assisted by a powered winch. Two anchor rollers at the bow support a primary and secondary setup. A single Yanmar diesel engine provides propulsion.
The deep cockpit is fitted with cushions and protected by a bimini and dodger. A centerline wheel is paired with a navpod displaying chartplotter, wind, and depth data. An aft sugar scoop includes hot and cold shower access and an easy ladder to the water. Below deck, the layout centers on a two-cabin arrangement: an aft cabin to port with a large double berth and storage, and forward to port a primary berth in the bow with island-style configuration, upper cabinets, and hanging locker.
The galley sits forward to port with a Force 10 three-burner stove and oven, a refrigerator with both side and front loading access, and a deep double stainless steel sink supplied by water pump and foot pumps for fresh and salt water. To starboard is a navigation station with instruments and workspace. The main salon features a teak and holly inlaid folding table that stores away to open the space, with comfortable settees to port and starboard offering under-cushion storage.
The single head to starboard includes a fresh water toilet and large shower. The boat has been maintained with monthly above and below-water cleaning, regular engine service, and consistent bottom painting throughout its life in Northeast Florida coastal cruising.
