This 2008 Admiral 40 Executive is a 40-foot fiberglass catamaran with a distinctive yellow hull and a 24-foot beam. Designed by Angelo Davranos and built by Admiral Master Yacht Builders in South Africa, the boat combines spacious accommodations with the stability and seaworthiness of a proven ocean-crossing design. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 60 horsepower each power the catamaran, and the engines were newly installed in 2025.
The three-cabin, two-head layout is divided between the two hulls. The starboard hull is dedicated to the owner, featuring a spacious master stateroom with a desk or vanity area, four hanging lockers, and a private head with a bath and shower. The port hull contains two guest cabins with double berths and a second head with a separate shower. The saloon is open with recently upholstered cushions, and the galley is equipped with a front-loading refrigerator and freezer, a three-burner stove, and ample counter space and storage. Air conditioning runs throughout.
The boat is fully outfitted for extended cruising and off-grid living. Equipment includes a combo refrigerator and freezer, an icemaker, a watermaker, a washer, and ample solar power. The wide beam delivers exceptional stability while remaining manageable even for a short-handed crew. The catamaran has been maintained by full-time cruisers since 2019 and was never chartered, preserving the condition of the owner's version.
