2008 Bavaria Vision 40

This 2008 Bavaria Vision 40 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built for extended cruising. At 40 feet in length with a 13-foot beam, it combines accessible handling with comfortable living space offshore.

The boat is equipped with navigation and autopilot systems including a C-80 GPS plotter and autopilot. The in-mast furling mainsail is newer, paired with a furling genoa for easier sail management. Power generation comes from both a wind generator and solar panels, supporting independence during passages. A bow thruster aids maneuvering in tight spaces, while a Webasto heating system provides cabin warmth.

Below deck, there are two cabins and one head. The 55 hp Volvo diesel engine drives the yacht, with auxiliary power available via outboard motor davit. Deck features include a full cockpit enclosure and dinghy davit for tender stowage. The hull received a fresh coat of bottom paint prior to launch.
