2008 Beneteau Oceanis 31

The 2008 Beneteau Oceanis 31 is a proven cruising yacht with a fiberglass hull and clean, functional design. Measuring 31 feet with a 12-foot beam, she carries a single Yanmar 3YM20 diesel engine producing 21 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots. The boat is rigged as a Bermuda sloop with slab-reefing mainsail fitted with lazy jacks and stack pack, headsail furling, and five Harken winches. Her deep iron fin keel draws 1.5 meters, and the hull was copper-coated in 2023. She holds 130 liters of diesel fuel, 130 liters of fresh water, and an 80-liter holding tank.

Below deck, the two-cabin layout sleeps six with a forward double berth, aft double cabin, and convertible saloon seating. The bright, open saloon features blue cotton upholstery and includes a chart table, hanging lockers, and wet locker. The galley is fully equipped with a two-burner hob, oven and grill, sink, and combined refrigerator and freezer. A separate heads compartment contains a WC, basin, and shower. A Webasto heating system provides warmth, and water heating is included.

Navigation and deck systems are comprehensive. Electronics comprise a Raymarine C80 chartplotter, 6002 LS40 autopilot with wireless remote, fixed VHF radio, portable VHF, GPS, Navtex receiver, echo sounder, and log and speed indicator. Deck gear includes a Brittany anchor with chain and warp, boarding ladder, cockpit shower, teak cockpit flooring and table, sprayhood, bimini, and full cockpit canopy. Safety equipment includes a liferaft, lifebuoys, flares, jackstays, and radar reflector. Three batteries were replaced in 2020. Shore power and comprehensive electrical systems support modern cruising, with manual and automatic bilge pumps fitted.
