2008 Contender 36 Open

This 2008 Contender 36 Open is a center console fishing boat powered by twin Suzuki 350 HP four-stroke engines. The 36-foot fiberglass hull measures 10 feet across the beam and includes one head. The boat is equipped with comprehensive navigation and communication systems: dual Garmin 4212 chart plotters, a Garmin GSD 22 sounder, Garmin autopilot, and two ICOM M506 VHF radios for redundancy.

The helm features Sea Star hydraulic-assisted steering with a 240-gallon capacity system, polycarbonate windshields, and a Kenwood stereo with remote control, four JL Audio speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. Electrical systems include four Group 31 batteries, dual Pro-Mariner smart battery chargers, and three 12-volt DC under-gunnel outlets. Lighting throughout comprises eight under-gunnel LED lights in blue and white, three T-top LED lights, and two Lumitec underwater lights with three color options.

The fishing setup includes a 20-foot carbon fiber outrigger, four live well pumps, two stern live wells, one 40-gallon deck live well, and dual Kiekhaefer trim tabs for performance and comfort. The boat was kept on a lift when not in use.
