2008 Fountaine Pajot Orana 44

This 2008 Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 is a fiberglass catamaran designed for extended cruising. The 44-foot hull with nearly 25-foot beam provides stability and spacious accommodation across three cabins and three heads, arranged in an owner's layout with separation between sleeping quarters and common areas. The galley connects openly to a bright saloon and large cockpit on a single level, suitable for both entertaining and long-term living aboard.

The catamaran is powered by two 60 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines. Its sailing design emphasizes short-handed operation, with an organized helm station and good visibility for navigation and maneuvering. The standing rigging was replaced in 2022.

Systems have been extensively upgraded to support self-sufficient cruising. Solar power comes from six 435-watt panels feeding an 800 ampere-hour 24-volt lithium battery bank. Fresh water is produced by a 150 liters-per-hour watermaker, and an Onan 9.5 kilowatt generator provides backup power. The electrical system is configured for 110-volt US standard.

The hull shows blistering over the waterline. The boat is equipped with the infrastructure and power systems needed for bluewater passages and remote anchorages.
