2008 Great Harbour N37

The 2008 Great Harbour N37 is a 40-foot fiberglass trawler built by Mirage Manufacturing in Gainesville, Florida. Known for its ruggedness and straightforward maintenance, the N37 design has built a strong following among cruising boat owners. Power comes from twin Yanmar 54 hp diesel engines, which deliver a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. The engines feature exceptional accessibility, with full standing headroom at a workbench and complete 360-degree access around each motor. The boat is fitted with a fuel polishing system and oil changing system serving both propulsion engines and the 9 kW genset.

The trawler accommodates two cabins and one head across a single, step-free main living level. The master stateroom features a full 60-by-80-inch island queen berth on centerline with extensive surrounding storage in hanging lockers and drawers. The guest cabin offers a convertible day settee that transforms into a full-size berth. The galley is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, four-burner electric cooktop, microwave, dishwasher drawer, and under-cabinet chest freezer. The head includes a spacious shower, separate toilet, vanity sink, and stainless steel opening port.

The pilothouse saloon sits one level above the main living area and houses the helm station and navigator's bench alongside a large wrap-around settee with folding table. An extended flybridge with full controls and navigational equipment can seat nine and is topped with a custom cover housing 1200 watts of solar panels. Recent updates include 2022 electronics, a bowthruster, Garmin autopilot and chartplotter, a Fireboy engine room fire suppression system, a watermaker, and a Victron 3 kW inverter. The deck design features protected walkways and waist-height rails surrounding the entire perimeter, with self-draining areas and secure on-deck access to the dual anchor pulpit.
