2008 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45 DS

This 2008 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45 DS is a comprehensively equipped cruising sailboat built with a fiberglass hull reinforced with Kevlar and fitted with teak on the cockpit, aft platform, and side decks. The deck saloon design provides exceptional light and volume throughout the interior. A single 75 hp Yanmar turbodiesel drives the yacht to a cruising speed of 7 knots, with approximately 4,300 engine hours as of mid-2026.

The boat carries a fractional 9/10ths sloop rig with a suite of modern sails including a fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, and cruising chute, all replaced or renewed in 2024. Lazy jacks and lazy bag were installed in 2021. Four Harken two-speed winches handle all sail controls led back to the cockpit. A bow thruster with independent power pack aids maneuvering.

Electrical systems are modern and well-maintained: four new domestic batteries and a new starter battery installed in 2024, two 350W solar panels on a stainless steel arch, and comprehensive battery monitoring via Victron equipment. Navigation equipment includes a modern chartplotter setup with AIS, Raymarine instruments, autopilot, and a new DSC VHF radio. Deck inventory encompasses a new electric anchor windlass, a tender with outboard motor, davits, multiple sun protection canopies, and extensive mooring and safety gear.
