2008 True World Marine TE2810

This 2008 True World Marine TE2810 is a 28-foot fiberglass sportfishing boat built for near and offshore work. It is powered by a single Yanmar 315-horsepower turbodiesel engine mounted amidships, which was replaced in fall 2023 with 116 hours on it. The engine delivers a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots, and runs efficiently with the weight centered for stability.

The boat has a full walkaround design with high gunwales and stainless 316 bow rails running from the cockpit forward, providing secure access along a genuinely wide deck. The layout centers on an open cockpit for fishing, with a single cabin and head forward. A Vetus bow thruster aids docking.

The boat carries extensive fishing equipment: a 12-inch Garmin touchscreen chartplotter and fishfinder, Furuno fishfinder, custom folding tower with four stainless rod holders, Taco Grand Slam outrigger system with poles, eight rod holders on the rocket launcher, eight additional deck-mounted stainless rod holders, and a saltwater washdown livewell. Other systems include a Lewmar windlass, VHF radio, cabin heater, circulation tank heater, and three deep-cycle marine batteries. The hull and deck hardware have been well maintained, with the prop, rudder, shaft, and trim tabs painted with Pettit Prop Coat Barnacle Barrier in 2022. The boat has been stored on a lift.
