This 2010 Golden Cut 28G is a hand-built Swedish motor yacht from a limited production of just ten boats, with only five constructed in fiberglass. It represents the sixth hull produced and one of the five GRP examples. The design draws inspiration from classic Scandinavian leisure boats, combining retro styling with modern engineering through the collaboration of Swedish designers Bo Zolland and Håkan Södergren. The boat features a hybrid construction with a fiberglass planing hull bottom and clinker mahogany freeboard, finished with solid teak and mahogany detailing throughout.
Accommodation consists of a spacious vee-berth in the forepeak with an adjoining heads compartment. The open cockpit includes convertible sofas that function as additional bunks, a small galley to port, and a dining table that folds away when not in use. Interior finishes include leather detailing from Tärnsjö tannery, handmade stainless steel fittings, and premium Swedish upholstery and textiles.
The yacht is powered by a single Volvo Penta D3-220 diesel engine, which was completely rebuilt in 2015–2016 and has logged only 150 hours of operation. A trim tab is fitted for improved handling. Maximum speed reaches 31 knots, with a cruising speed of 25 knots. The engine operates with minimal vibration and noise through a close-coupled Aquamatic leg with contra-rotating propellers, leaving the cockpit uncluttered and spacious.
Both previous owners have maintained the boat meticulously, with professional winter storage undertaken each season since its summer 2010 delivery. The design incorporates the golden ratio principle throughout its proportions and layout, influencing everything from the windscreen positioning to foredeck details.
