2009 Catalina 470

This 2009 Catalina 470 is a 46-foot cruising sailboat built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a 75 hp Yammer diesel engine. The boat features mainsail in-boom furling, a hard dodger, and a bow thruster installed in 2020. She carries a Portland Pudgy tender with full sailing kit.

The accommodation plan includes two cabins and two heads. Power systems are substantial: a 600 ampere-hour lithium battery bank installed in 2020, 900 watts of solar with MPPT charger, a Fisher Panda 4000 DC generator, and a Xantrex Freedom inverter/charger provide reliable electricity. Fresh water comes from a Spectra watermaker with a purified drinking water tap featuring micron and UV filtration. Climate control is handled by two Webasto 1600 BTU units for heating and air conditioning.

Navigation and communication equipment were comprehensively upgraded in 2020: Raymarine chartplotter, autopilot, and radar sit alongside three multiscreen displays in the cockpit. A 4G cellular extender and wifi router are installed with a 12-volt panel switch. The audio system comprises a new Fusion radio with speakers. Additional 2020 updates include new Flexteak deck in the cockpit, hull painted in Algrip flag blue, and a Simarine Pico advanced battery and tank monitor with color touchscreen. A Samsung "The Frame" flat-screen television with inverter is also aboard.

The boat comes with a Flexifold three-bladed folding propeller and a complete set of spares and tools organized in labeled bins.
