2009 Custom Hugh Huff Custom Pilothouse Trawler

This 44-foot custom pilothouse trawler was designed and built in 2009 by Hugh Huff in Midland, Ontario. She embodies traditional displacement trawler principles with a raised pilothouse for commanding visibility, wide protected side decks, and solid engineering throughout. The hull is fiberglass, and her Northern expedition-style profile reflects a philosophy centered on strength, safety, and serviceability rather than production shortcuts.

The interior layout accommodates extended cruising with a spacious salon featuring natural light and comfortable seating, a galley with ample counter space and storage, two cabins with four single berths total, and two heads including one with a separate shower.
