2009 Dufour 45E Performance

This 2009 Dufour 45E Performance is a 44.6-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for serious cruising and performance sailing. Powered by a Volvo diesel engine rated at 55 horsepower with 2,600 hours logged, the boat combines the stability and comfort needed for extended passages with the rig and systems designed for responsive handling.

The layout includes three cabins and two heads, supported by a 260-liter fuel tank, 530-liter freshwater capacity, and dual 50-liter black water tanks. Interior appointments feature a Webasto heater, three-burner Eno stove with oven and microwave, Waeco freezer, Dometic dishwasher, refrigerator, and dimmed lighting throughout saloon and cabins. Navigation centers on Raymarine electronics including chartplotter, autopilot, speed and depth transducers, VHF radio, and compass. Power management includes a 1500-watt inverter, four 105 Ah service batteries, a 4-kilowatt Whisper generator, and two 170-watt solar panels.

The boat carries a full cruising and racing rig: classic mainsail, furling genoa, spinnaker with deck gear and carbon pole, lazy bag and lazy jacks, and six winches including electric genoa units. The teak cockpit features cushions, sunbeds, table, and shower. An external sound system, swimming platform with ladder, and bimini complete the outdoor spaces. Anchoring gear includes a 25-kilogram anchor with 70 meters of chain and windlass control from the cockpit.

Engine and antifouling were serviced in April 2025. Additional onboard systems comprise hot water, seawater pump, bilge pump, and comprehensive safety equipment. A manual gangway and outboard bracket are included.
