This 2009 Hallberg-Rassy 54 is a German Frers-designed centre-cockpit cruising yacht built with comprehensive specification from the outset. The fiberglass hull measures 54.92 feet in length with a 15.42-foot beam, powered by a single Volvo Penta D4-180 diesel engine with shaft drive and fitted with a Sleipner 16-horsepower bowthruster. The yacht carries a Selden aluminium rig with hydraulic in-mast furling on the mainsail, genoa, and staysail, all controlled by push-button from the cockpit. The standing rigging was professionally inspected in 2026, and running rigging was replaced on a rolling program between 2022 and 2025.
The interior accommodates three cabins and two heads finished in teak joinery, designed for couples to manage independently but spacious enough for family and friends. The saloon includes a Philips 4K screen with Apple TV, and the owner's cabin has a Panasonic HD television. The galley features a Force 10 electric cooker with three burner hobs, oven, and grill, alongside a microwave, dishwasher, water-cooled fridge and freezer, and a Candy washing machine. Heating is provided by twin Webasto Airtop diesel-fired systems, while reverse-cycle air-conditioning with 40,000-BTU output offers cooling. A Jabsco electric freshwater flush system serves both heads with macerators, and an ENWA 5500 reverse osmosis watermaker produces approximately 230 litres per hour.
The 2021–2023 refit extensively updated the yacht's systems and structure. The teak side decks and cockpit were refurbished, and the hull was sandblasted, re-epoxied, and treated with a Coppercoat antifouling system. Electrical systems include Mastervolt lithium-ion service batteries with Combi inverter/chargers, a Whisper 10-kilowatt diesel generator, and solar panels with Mastervolt MPPT charge control. Navigation comprises a Furuno system with dual chart plotters, open-array radar, AIS transceiver, and a Furuno SCX-20 satellite compass. Communications include Starlink Gen 2 and Mini satellite systems, an Inmarsat Fleet 250 Broadband unit, and 4G routing.
Deck equipment includes Lewmar electric primary and mainsheet winches, a removable stainless bowsprit with gennaker furler, white-painted carbon fibre whisker pole, and a hydraulic push-button teak-covered swim platform with integral swim ladder. A Bezensoni hydraulic passerelle, Simpson S10 electric davits, and a Highfield 340 CL inflatable tender with Yamaha 8-horsepower outboard complete the inventory. An 8-man liferaft, sprayhoods, bimini, and cockpit enclosure are included. Recent maintenance encompasses engine and generator services
