The 2009 Hallberg-Rassy 54 is a fiberglass cruising yacht built for offshore voyaging. Hallberg-Rassy's designs are recognized for their seaworthiness and livability on extended passages. This 54-footer carries the hallmarks of the yard: a well-proportioned layout optimized for extended time aboard, whether underway or at anchor, with thoughtful engineering throughout.
The cockpit features Hallberg-Rassy's signature hardtop—substantial in size with an opening mid-section and full enclosure capability, providing shelter in both extreme cold and tropical heat. Visibility is good all around. Below deck, the accommodation follows a "Super Cabin" layout with two primary cabins and a third berth for occasional guests. The saloon seats six in Hallberg-Rassy easy chairs, and level flooring throughout aids movement in rough conditions. Two heads serve the three-cabin layout.
Power comes from a single 180-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine. A diesel generator runs with only 173 hours on the clock. The electrical system has been upgraded with new chargers and inverters.
A comprehensive refit occurred in 2018 and 2019. The standing rigging was replaced in 2018. In January 2022, the bottom was sanded and barrier-coated with epoxy, then painted with SeaHawk Tropicote. New electronics were installed and commissioned during the 2018–2019 refit period.
