This 2009 Maxi 1060 was designed by Pelle Petterson and built at the renowned Najad shipyard. The 35-foot fiberglass hull combines seaworthiness with easy handling in all wind conditions, featuring a comfortable cockpit, spacious stern area, and practical design for both sailing and mooring. A Volvo Penta D1-30 Saildrive diesel engine powers the yacht, supported by a bow thruster and Flex-o-Fold folding propeller.
Below deck, the bright oak interior accommodates two cabins plus a mid-ship saloon with sleeping for seven. The forward and aft cabins have custom mattresses, while the galley includes an oven and refrigerator. A separate head with shower and electric Jabsco toilet completes the facilities. Generous storage and headroom throughout maintain an airy feel.
The Selden rollmast and Furlex furling system carry original main and jib sails in good working condition, plus a near-new genaker. Mainsail blocks, boom, and various lines were renewed in 2026. Raymarine navigation includes an Axiom 9 Pro chartplotter and AIS installed in 2022, with autopilot and instruments for wind and depth. Three service batteries and a separate start battery were replaced in 2025.
Recent updates include new sprayhood, bimini, and wheel cover in 2025, teak bathing platform, Lewmar winches, stainless cleats, and a diesel heating system. A 20-litre water heater, Isoterm cooling, and stereo with cabin and cockpit speakers complete the setup. Ground tackle consists of a Rocna anchor with chain and an electric Lofrans windlass.
