A 55-meter steel explorer built by Pendennis Shipyard in 2009, this yacht combines expedition capability with luxury accommodation. Her ice-classed hull is 3 cm thick and rated to break through 80 cm of ice, making her suitable for polar and remote-water cruising. Twin CAT 3512B diesel engines deliver 2,200 horsepower combined, providing a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 10,000 nautical miles.
The interior accommodates 12 guests across 7 cabins—a master suite, two VIE cabins, and four twin cabins with extra bunks—plus 6 crew cabins. Design by Liebowitz & Partners follows a classical English gentlemen's club aesthetic. Entertainment systems include LG OLED televisions, Yamaha amplifiers, and Apple TV 4K media in the main salon, private lounge, and all guest cabins.
Distinctive features include a bow-mounted dolphin observation basket, a diesel-heated swimming pool with artificial current, and a wine cellar sized for 600 bottles adjoining a cigar bar. The galley is expedition-grade with a walk-in refrigerator. Nine heads service the accommodations. Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers support comfort underway.
The hull was repainted in 2025. The yacht carries comprehensive mechanical, navigation, and communication systems throughout.
