2009 Sabre 52 Express

The 2009 Sabre 52 Express is a fiberglass cruiser powered by twin 1730-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engines. Measuring 52 feet in length with a 16-foot beam, she was operated as a freshwater boat on Lake Michigan for 15 years before recent relocation. The hull was repainted in 2022 and the boat has no reported accident history.

The accommodations include a forward berth and master berth, each fitted with custom pillowtop mattresses, along with refined custom interiors by Soucie Horner Chicago. The salon features custom fabrics and area rugs, with an adjustable pedestal dining table that can convert the settee into additional sleeping space. Galley and bath countertops and tiles are part of the custom interior package. Twin bathrooms include seawater filters for cold water supply, with hot water supplied by the yacht's systems.

Navigation and seamanship equipment is comprehensive: dual Raymarine GS120 monitors, 48-inch radar, autopilot, AIS, MMSI VHF, satellite weather, HD sonar, FLIR thermal imaging, and an Airmar weather station. Bow and stern thrusters with a yacht controller enable remote thrust management. Engine room and aft cameras are integrated into the system. Communication options include an Iridium GOES satellite phone with rooftop antenna and a Starlink satellite dish with WiFi router.

Maintenance records show routine annual servicing of engines and generators with a comprehensive CAT Michigan service completed in August 2024. A new Xtreme Headhunter freshwater pump was installed in October 2024 with a backup unit included. Additional features encompass the Siren Marine Siren 3 Pro security system installed in November 2024, Ocean LED Pro Series Gen 2 underwater lights with multi-color capability, a Fusion Sound System with Bluetooth, JL speakers and subwoofers throughout, and Direct TV satellite service. The helm features a Stidd 1200 double seat with electric adjustments, while an aft cockpit Sure Shade provides sun protection. An extra set of propellers with protective equipment and spare parts are stored in the engine room.
