2009 Schock Harbor 25

The 2009 Schock Harbor 25 is a 26-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed by Steve Schock. The boat features a fin bulb keel weighing 1,900 lbs with a near-balanced ballast-to-displacement ratio, a tall mast, and a 5-foot bowsprit for asymmetrical spinnaker work. The design is responsive in light winds and carries a full Ullman Sails inventory: a full-batten mainsail with telltales, a furling 90% genoa, and a gennaker/cruising spinnaker that has seen minimal use. Control lines are organized and lead aft to designated storage slots in the cockpit.

The 8-foot cockpit is equipped with white cushions and is protected by lazy-jacks, a mainsail cover, and a weather cover. Below deck, the interior includes a V-berth and two quarter berths, all with clean cushions free of damage. A single head serves the accommodations. The boat is outfitted with two self-tailing Lewmar 14 single-speed winches and a Holt self-tacking jib pole with adjustable backstay tension blocks.

Power comes from an efficient Yanmar diesel inboard engine with a folding stainless steel propeller on a Saildrive. Navigation and performance electronics include a Hawkeye digital depthsounder and a Velocitek SC-1 wireless speed, heading, and GPS recorder. The boat carries a Bruce anchor with 100 feet of line, a retractable swim ladder, extra fenders, safety equipment, and additional spares including an impeller. The mainsail and genoa were both serviced in July 2016.
