2010 Archambault A31

The 2010 Archambault A31 is a 31-foot fibreglass racing cruiser built for serious offshore sailing. Powered by a 21 hp Nanni diesel engine with a folding propeller, the boat combines performance-oriented design with extensive modern systems for competitive and long-distance work. The hull measures 10.6 feet across the beam.

Accommodation comprises two cabins and one head. The boat is equipped with a full array of navigation and autopilot systems centred on the NKE platform, including a gyropilot autopilot with wind option, multiple display units, GPS receivers, AIS transceiver, VHF radio, and an Actisense NMEA interface. An integrated Victron energy system powers the boat, featuring dual 125 Ah AGM batteries, solar charging, a fuel cell generator, and multiple monitoring systems.

The sails and rigging reflect a racing focus: main and jib options include carbon and mylar constructions with roller systems, asymmetric spinnakers, and a code 0. Running rigging is spectra and Liros. The boat carries a carbon boom, boom extension, and Facnor genoa roller with flat-deck evolution. Deck equipment includes an electro-hydraulic control system, refrigeration unit, water tanks with transfer valve, anti-roll nets, and a small tender.

Significant systems and components have been renewed over recent years, including battery management systems, solar panel and charger, navigation display units, GPS sensors, VHF antenna, genoa roller, boom extension, HP speakers, tender lights, and water pump. A comprehensive semi-offshore safety package for four persons is aboard.
