2008 Beneteau 31

This 2008 Beneteau 31 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built with solid hull construction bonded to a structural grid and cored sandwich layup for strength and light weight. At 31 feet, she carries a 20 horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with a folding propeller, in-mast furling main, and roller furling genoa. The sails were replaced in 2022 and 2023, and additional running rigging was upgraded in 2021. A gennaker with full gear rounds out the sail plan. The boat is equipped with Harken self-tailing winches, an anodized aluminum mast with aft-swept spreaders, single-line reefing, and all running rigging led aft to the cockpit.

Below deck, the yacht offers two staterooms and one head. The forward owner's cabin has a 6-foot 8-inch by 4-foot 1-inch double berth with high-quality marine mattress, hanging locker, and ample storage. The port aft cabin provides a 5-foot 7-inch by 6-foot 1-inch double berth with similar amenities. Both cabins feature opening ports and overhead lighting. The salon features an L-shaped settee to port, a chart table to starboard, and wood fiddles on shelves. Large side windows and opening hatches throughout provide natural light and ventilation.

The galley to port includes an L-shaped layout with two stainless steel sinks, a mixer tap with hot and cold pressure water, a gimbaled two-burner stove, microwave oven, and a 26-gallon ice box with 12-volt refrigerator and freezer. The head includes a shower pan with handheld wand, manual marine toilet, and 21-gallon holding tank. Fresh water capacity is 34 gallons, fuel capacity 34 gallons, and the boat has a 60-amp alternator with 110-volt shore power.

The boat features comprehensive electronics including a Raymarine autopilot, color chart plotter with GPS, wind and depth instruments, and ICOM VHF radio. Two 70-amp service batteries were replaced in 2025. Deck amenities include real teak toe rail and handrails, stainless steel bow and stern rails with double lifelines, a 36-inch leather-covered wheel, self-draining anchor locker, and a full safety package. Bottom paint was refreshed in fall 2025. A steel storage cradle with bunks is included.
