The Archambault A31 is a 31-foot French-designed racer-cruiser built on proven performance principles. Developed by Joubert Nivelt and scaled down from the successful A35 and A40RC designs, this 2010 model combines competitive sailing characteristics with practical cruising capability, equally at home inshore or offshore.
The hull employs vacuum-infused fiberglass with a sandwich core deck, constructed using vinylester resin and infusion technology for a lightweight yet durable structure. Power comes from a single 14-horsepower Nanni diesel engine, and the yacht carries a 10.5-foot beam on its 31-foot length.
Accommodation below deck is arranged for six berths: a V-berth forward, a double aft cabin, and two saloon berths. Six feet of headroom runs through the cabin space. The galley is well-equipped with a two-burner stove, refrigerator, and substantial storage throughout. The head compartment is generously proportioned for comfort on extended passages.
