The Arcona 430 is a 44-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a 54 hp Yanmar saildrive. Built in 2010, this model was recognised as the European Yacht of the Year in 2009 for combining speed with comfortable cruising. The boat features three cabins, two heads, a shower, heating, and hot water throughout.
The interior includes a galley with seawater tap, navigation area with additional refrigerator, and all cabins fitted with mattress toppers. On deck, the boat carries an Axiom 12" plotter with radar, autopilot with remote control, wind and depth instruments, rudder angle indicator, AIS Class B, and VHF radio. Navigation and sail handling equipment includes anchor winches at bow and stern, spinnaker pole with track, cutter stay with storm jib, lazy-bag and lazy-jacks, and backstay tensioner. Additional features are a dinghy with outboard motor and lifting arm, bimini with solar panels, cockpit cover on frames, and shore power connection.
Recent upgrades include a new Hydra Net mainsail with three reefs and matching headsail, new cutter stay and storm jib, watermaker, Watt & Sea hydrogenerator, and reinforced plastic seacocks installed in 2020. In July 2025, a comprehensive service was performed that included replacement of the saildrive bellows, new batteries, two replacement solar panels, full engine service with new impeller, propeller treatment, all sacrificial anodes replaced, new antifouling, hull and deck polish and wax, and a new dinghy. Life raft repacking, fire extinguisher servicing, and gas line replacement were also completed at that time.
